Battle Zone (rev 2)

A seminal, 3-D wireframe shoot-em-up in which the player views the action from inside a tank. The aim is to destroy as many enemy tanks, missiles and saucers as possible. Enemy tanks do, of course, fire back and a direct hit on the player's tank, either by enemy tank fire, missile strike or saucer attack, will result in the loss of a player tank. Each level is littered with objects that can shield the player; they can also obstruct the movement of the player's tank as they cannot be driven through or over. A radar scope and an information window at the top of the play area alert the player as to the enemies' positions.
